Pyrate's Cove

Welcome back to Re-Collection Log. Where I chronicle my journey to complete my Pyrates collection from the ground up, basically from scratch!

Today we have a very special package that arrived!

PYRATE'S COVE!

This is actually a set that I never had as a child. In fact, I never even knew it *was* a set. Which is crazy! Because I had almost every single Wave 1 set as a kid. My only memories with this set are for its brief appearance in the promotional movie.

I bought this set off of eBay and actually shipped it in from the UK. The set was mostly complete. Only missing a few parts here and there, like a few trees, the octopus (the one in the picture is the one from Coffer Trap), and some other small parts. But thankfully all the big stuff was there. All of the figures, the boat, the islands... It makes me really happy to finally see this set in person.

Sabrehook and Silverback are two of my favorite characters in my collection now.

Poor Topmast Tremblay is about to get absolutely gunned down!

Poor Keelhaul Jettyport is trapped between a skeleton and a privateer!

Craven holding off a whole boatload of skeletons for his captain and crew!

It even came with the box. Which was a welcome surprise. A nice fancy collectors tin!
